WORDSMITH WORKSHOP RETREATS

I work with award-winning author Cristin Terrill to host a series of writing workshop retreats around America. We’ve visited coast-to-coast for these all-inclusive intensively crafted retreats. For five days, 14 participants stay with us (and our private chef!) at a serene guest house. In the mornings, Cristin and I teach workshops on writing craft, getting an agent, and the ins-and-outs of publishing. We have guest appearances (live or via Skype) with agents and other published authors. In the evening, participants get a critique from both Cristin and I–Cristin focuses on the prose of your first pages of your manuscript, and I help critique the plot structure of your entire book. And between all of that, you have serene writing time in various cozy nooks around the house (or a chance to relax and take it all in).

Many of our participants are now agented and book deals for past retreaters are happening! We have a *very* high return rate, and cap our participants at 14 per retreat, so our retreats tend to fill up very fast.
